Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the lstd mobile and web applications and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by lstd ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Transmit harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without our written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service (tasks, notes, lists, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process that content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it.
5. Sharing Features
When you share a list with another user, you grant that user the permissions associated with the role you assign them (Admin, Editor, Worker, or Viewer). You are responsible for managing these sharing permissions. We are not responsible for actions taken by users you have granted access to your lists.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and content (excluding your content), is owned by lstd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
7. Purchases
The Service offers an optional one-time paid unlock ("Extras") providing additional cosmetic and organizational options. Extras is not required to use the core functionality of the Service.
Purchases are processed through the app store you purchased from (Apple App Store or Google Play) or, for web purchases, through our payment partner RevenueCat and its connected payment processor. We do not process or store your payment card details ourselves.
Extras is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and unlocks the feature for your account across platforms. Refunds are handled according to the refund policy of the store or payment processor you purchased through, not by us directly.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure providers, including Supabase (database and authentication) and RevenueCat (purchase and entitlement management). Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' terms and policies. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FULLY SECURE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, lstd WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
